Join us in celebrating our 19th birthday. Donate so we can continue our vision of providing free communications tools for people in need.
On March 29, 2013, Open Access Connections celebrates its 19th birthday. Started in 1994, by a group of community agencies and potential voice mail users, we have connected over 60,000 people with a voice mail number. When we began, the StarTribune published a front page story on our services titled " Voice mail project gives the phoneless a place to be called. " They referred to the fact that many people had faxes, voice mail and computers but not homeless or low income people".
Technology has changed since then, but we are still working to connect low income and homeless people with the communications technology that they need.
Please help us celebrate our birthday with the gift of a donation. Your support will help us continue our work in providing communication resources to low-income people, and help us reach our 20th birthday.
