The Shores summer cabins are structurally solid; however decades of heavy use and humidity require their complete renovation.
With more than 50 buildings on 240 acres across three separate sites, Green Lake Lutheran Ministries has no shortage of improvement projects waiting for funding and volunteers. Our current priorities are at our Shores of Saint Andrew property, home to our summer campers, grades 1-5, as well as seasonal retreaters.
While all three of our summer staff cabins are structurally solid, decades of heavy use, water damage, and humidity require their gutting and complete renovation. Each remodeled cabin will accommodate 6-8 persons. A living room, small kitchen, heating and air conditioning will make it possible for families and small groups to retreat to Shores of St. Andrew year-round. The use of the dock, the beach, campfire, and an invitation to participate in Shores community life is included.
