Give today to help children thrive in school and in life with Reading Corps and Math Corps!

You can help Minnesota's children unlock infinite possibilities through education. By supporting ServeMinnesota, you'll help students build the reading and math skills they need to explore our world.

Without a strong foundation in reading and math, doors to better opportunities close early. Reading by third grade is critical for success in every other subject. Until third grade, students learn to read; beyond that, they read to learn. Success in algebra by 8th grade is predictive of high school and college graduation and is needed to access many of the jobs of tomorrow. Plus, math helps students develop problem solving and critical thinking, skills that apply in learning and life.

With your support, ServeMinnesota will bring Reading Corps and Math Corps to schools across our state to provide free tutoring to 35,000 young learners this year. The tutoring is provided by trained AmeriCorps members to any student who needs it, regardless of where they live or their family's income. Reading Corps and Math Corps are designed to close the "people power" gap at schools by providing an extra layer of support for students who need, but don't have access to, extra help to close gaps in their learning. In this way, the programs help schools ensure that every student receives the level of support they need to be successful.

When you give to ServeMinnesota today, you power possibilities for Minnesota's kids: your gift gives them the tutoring they need to keep the doors open to their future. You can ensure students have access to proven learning strategies, dedicated practice time, and consistent support from a caring adult. The reading and math skills and confidence they'll gain through tutoring are key to 21st century learning and living.

Please be sure to explore the Math Corps and Reading Corps project pages to learn more about how these programs are changing the future in your community. Thank you for your support!
