Help us Celebrate 30 Years of Public Art!
Please join us in supporting our mission to place artists in leading roles to shape public spaces, improve City systems, and deepen civic engagement. Now, more than ever before, these activities are critical to our civic discourse and our urban futures.
Help us to achieve our vision of imagining and creating with artists, civic leaders, and our neighbors a 21st century city that is just, sustainable and beautiful.Public Art Saint Paul is celebrating 30 years of innovative public art practice and city-making. Your contribution on Give to the Max Day will help to support:
-Our highly emulated City Artist Program, with two artists working in the City of Saint Paul to use City systems as a delivery method for art to reach all neighborhoods;
-Public art and green space improvements at Hmongtown Marketplace, which supports nearly 200 Hmong families;
-Advancement of The Art of Food in Frogtown and Rondo, a coalition of Public Art Saint Paul, Frogtown Farm and Park, Asian Economic Development Association, and Urban Farm and Garden -Alliance to develop healthy food access, public places, and public art;
-The creation of more Pollinator Sky Rises in our “Bee Real, Bee Everywhere” project to sustain wild bee and butterfly populations;
-Stamping new poems by City residents into sidewalks in our Sidewalk Poetry program;
-Celebration of community and art in “Aardvark in the Park” festivals in Western Sculpture Park;
-Expanding the voices of residents heard in City issues in our Pop Up Meetings;
-Making our streetscapes more lively and beautiful with artful stop sign posts and other sculptural elements.
Your support allows us to harness tremendous energy and accomplish great things. Help to launch us into our next 30 years!
