The GiveMN Help Team is making planned system updates to our customer service software and will be unavailable to respond to help requests through the weekend while the updates are being made. If you send a help request through Sunday, it will be logged and we will reply to it at the beginning of next week. This update only affects the Help team, and all other site activity and giving will continue to take place as usual.

Lyndale Community School Foundation

Wild About Reading: the 2nd Annual Lyndale Read-a-Thon!

We’re "Wild About Reading" at Lyndale! Donations made on this site between February 1 and February 15, 2018, will count towards the $10,000 Read-a-thon goal.

Lyndale students will track their reading minutes and enjoy fun activities during the Read-a-Thon. Check out the Lyndale School website, the Lyndale PTO Facebook page, and Twitter @LyndaleEagles for updates and more information.

Have you pledged to support a Lyndale student’s reading? Thank you! The student will record your donation on their donation form and you can make your payment directly to the student by cash or check OR with a credit/debit card on this site.

General donations to the Read-a-Thon are happily accepted, too!

Donations will support arts programming at Lyndale including arts enrichment projects, the year-long Bridges program and instruments for Band and Orchestra.

Thank you for your tax-deductible support!

Support the Lyndale Fund, 2017/2018

Show some love for arts programming at Lyndale!  We took a big budget cut last year, but with help from you we can keep Lyndale thriving.

Lyndale Community School has a lot of wonderful things going for it:

  • academic excellence
  • a diverse and warm community of staff, kids, and families
  • talented and caring teachers and staff
  • support services for students of all needs, learning levels, and cultural backgrounds
  • art and music integrated throughout the curriculum
  • the only public elementary school in the state that offers Arabic language

Where will the money go?

  • Classroom supplies and improvements (books, reading nooks, beanbags)
  • Arts enrichment projects (the new school mural, a residency with Somali artist Ifrah Mansour)
  • The year-long Bridges program. Every 3rd grader performs on stage at Children's Theater Company.
  • Instruments for Band & Orchestra. Every Lyndale student has a chance to learn an instrument!

How much do we need?

If each family gives $40 for each of their Lyndale kids, we'll meet our goal! We don't ask our kids to sell chocolate, magazines, or wrapping paper. You direct donation is the best way to help. If you can give more, or ask family members to pitch in, that will help keep our school strong.

Your donation is tax-deductible
