Join us on Saturday, September 15th from 10 AM until Noon at Thomas Beach, Lake
BDE Maka Ska( formerly called Lake Calhoun for a morning of fun, free food and
entertainment, and fellowship as we raise funds for extra needs at our group home
throughout the Twin Cities.  Our Made in the Shade ("MITS") event is family-friendly
and street parking is free.

T-shirts are available for your donation of $25 or more (youth and infant t-shirts are
free) but you should order by July 26th.  Contact Development Officer Darolyn
Gray at [email protected] or call 651.888.3112. You can designate your
donation to a specific house.  Here are sample wishes by location:

Designate Wingspan Life Resources during your company's United Way Campaign or Community Shares Program.Volunteer with family, friends or co-workers to help with Spring or Fall yard clean up at our group homes, or to help paint rooms, or assist with our special events.Ask whether your employer has a Matching Gifts program.

Services offered by Wingspan include:
Residential: Services and support to 100 adults with developmental and other disabilities in 26 group homes throughout the Twin Cities.In-Home: Services and supports to those still living with family or independently.Three Directions: Employment and Alternative Services providing individually designed services for adults seeking retirement activity, volunteer options, or paid employment.Rainbow Support Group for LGBT adults with disabilities.
