WATCH's fundraising goal for Give to the Max in 2018 is $3500! 

We are looking to raise:

$ 2000- to to support our internship program.

WATCH is a court monitoring and judicial policy non-profit located in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  WATCH works to make the justice system more responsive to crimes of violence against women and children, focusing on greater safety for victims of violence and greater accountability for violent offenders.

WATCH's goals are victim and public safety, the accountability and transparency of the judiciary and the education of the judicial system and the public.  

With data collected in our court monitoring practice, WATCH publishes judicial policy reports advocating for improvements in the criminal justice system as it relates to violence against women and children. 

In WATCH’s last 12 months we have: 

• Two major reports released to the public
• 100 volunteers have monitored over 3500 cases in Hennepin, Ramsey and Washington counties
• Tracked over 21,000 cases in all three counties in an effort to analyze trends and develop recommendations 
• Training of all new judges in Hennepin County 
• Roll-out of pilot program in Washington County- a program that tracks all criminal cases 
• Participant in Senator Amy Klobuchar’s round-table discussion about re-authorization of the Violence Against Women’s Act 
• We’ve started the process of implementing our recommendations from our report focused on courtrooms in in Ramsey County
