United Way of Washington County-East Inc

At the United Way of Washington County-East, we’re shining the spotlight all week on our community YOUTH. 

We went to the source, spent time with 24 9th graders at Stillwater Area High School and asked them "What challenges are facing youth today?" The answers varied but some common concerns were expressed by many. Mental health, peer pressure, body image, addiction and drug use, and social media/cyber bullying were among the top answers. We aim to support our local youth in as many ways as we can and proudly provide funding for youth programs.

Give to the Max funds raised will go towards supporting youth in our community through:

• school-based mental health services
• free, safe, and supportive out-of-school care
• violence prevention and healthy relationship education
• health, wellness, and social connections for youth with disabilities
• foster care outreach and support
