Superior Cycling Association

A nonprofit organization

2020 has been an INCREDIBLE year for SCA.  17 miles of new trail (Jackpot and High Climber) was fully open which connects the Britton Peak trail cluster to Lutsen Mountains over terrain that gives riders a lot of fast flow and some fun optional spice along the way.   This trail is stunning in more ways than one and deserves all the praise it is getting.  AND! most of the 8 miles of trails at Britton Peak trailhead have been rehabilitated to today's trail expectations.  What's that mean?  In short, more fun no matter what skill level you have!

In 2010, the Superior Cycling Association was founded to grow mountain and road biking opportunities in Cook County, Minnesota. Through partnerships with Visit Cook County, the National Forest Service, the International Mountain Bike Association (IMBA), Lifetime Fitness, and local businesses, SCA has developed many miles of singletrack, hosted bike races and clinics, and strived to make cycling on the North Shore more accessible, safe, and fun for all ages and abilities. Please help us continue this effort by becoming a member, volunteering, or sponsoring a trail.
