Rebuilding Together of Fargo-Moorhead Area Inc

Our Mission is to bring volunteers and communities together to improve the homes and lives of homeowners in need.

We are a free home repair and rehabilitation program devoted to helping low-income homeowners who are elderly, veterans and people living with disabilities. 

I would like to invite you to participate in this meaningful program.

The local Fargo-Moorhead Area affiliate was established on January 1st, 2011.

 

For the past several years homeowners and home builders in the Fargo-Moorhead area have enjoyed a fairly stable housing market.  At the same time there are hundreds of low-income families that continue to struggle with the high cost of home maintenance and repairs.

This is how donations have helped:

• We have remodeled a basement to provide a bedroom, bathroom and play room for a family’s 3 children. Their mother suffers from seizures and the family had to move in with a sister. The sister’s house only has two bedrooms and this sister is the only wage earner due to her husbands’ medical problems.
• An elderly couple were in desperate need of roof repair. Their insurance coverage has been cancelled for some time and the mortgage is in default. We were able to shingle their roof. There are very few non-profit organization in our area that repair roofs.
