Minnesota Citizens Federation Northeast

The Citizens Federation - Northeast helps ordinary people become leaders, fighting on behalf of low and middle income people. With a 43-year long track record of achievement on affordable healh care, fair utility rates, worker justice and other issues, our members express the confidence and ability to make real changes. Their determination shows in events like rallying for health care on a cold, rainy day; or traveling 150 miles to St. Paul, right after a snowstorm, to make the case for fair electric rates. We speak truth to power to all levels of government, with clear facts and significant research. As a result, we do get listened to. We also reach out to many other groups to find allies and help create combined citizen and consumer power to be able to accomplish real social change.
