The Minneapolis Kiwanis Foundation provides support for Minneapolis youth through college scholarships, grants & youth sponsored programs.
The Minneapolis Kiwanis Foundation provides a $2000 college scholarship to one high school senior at each of 10 Minneapolis High Schools.
The Minneapolis Kiwanis Foundation provides approximately $40,000 annually in grants to over a dozen non-profit organizations that work with kids in Minneapolis.
Thanks to continued donations from community members, the Foundation has been able to expand its sponsorship of Student Leader Programs. The Foundation is in its third year sponsoring a Key Club (high school version of Kiwanis) at Roosevelt High School in Minneapolis where students meet weekly to plan and participate in service projects. The Foundation just this year began sponsorship of a Circle-K (college version of Kiwanis) at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. That club meets twice a month and plans and participates in service throughout the community.
The Minneapolis Kiwanis Foundation also supports community service projects of the Minneapolis Downtown Kiwanis Club members.
