Northland Adaptive Recreation is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of people with disabilities through community recreation opportunities. Removing barriers to community assets, advocating for inclusion and providing a safe and welcoming environment with the assistance of volunteers, community, and philanthropic partners.

The Miller-Dwan Foundation improves the health of the people of our region through the creation of impactful community solutions that overcome barriers. By coming together with others who share our vision and passion, we are able to make a difference in the lives of people every day.

In July 2023, the Miller-Dwan Foundation acquired Northland Adaptive Recreation, formerly Allina Health’s Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute – Northland.
