Minnesota Housing Partnership (MHP) works to ensure families and future generations of Minnesotans can live and thrive here by making stable housing affordable.

Today, we face many challenges: creating good jobs, revitalizing our schools, and ensuring everyone has a safe, secure place to live. We need our elected officials and community leaders to implement new solutions that will make this a fair, affordable and prosperous place to live. We need policies that put housing within reach for everyone.

Stable housing should not be something you have to think about, and it should be something that families can count on every day.

Your gift supports our three areas of work:

  • COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT: For more than two decades, MHP has provided long-term affordable housing and community development capacity-building assistance to rural and Native communities.
  • RESEARCH: We conduct rigorous and timely research that focuses on data-driven gaps and solutions to drive lasting impact.
  • PUBLIC POLICY / ADVOCACY: We advocate for public policy and investments that support healthy communities and advance local housing and community development.

We believe in a strong Minnesota, with all Minnesotans being able to afford a place to live.

Our mission is to expand housing and community development opportunity for those most impacted by economic and racial disparities by leading collaborative work to promote systems change and grow equitable development capacity.

Your gift supports stronger, more stable communities.

Minnesota will be stronger and better when everyone, from every neighborhood and every income level, has a roof over their head.

MHP advocates for equitable housing policy, conducts housing research, and provides community development services around the country.
