Midwest Animal Rescue & Services (MARS) is committed to serving both pet and parent, finding homes for animals that were once lost, left behind and forgotten, while bringing harmony and enhancing education in our community.

MARS is dedicated to saving the lives of homeless dogs and cats regardless
of age or breed. Since our inception in 2006, we have placed over 20,000
animals into loving permanent homes. Once these animals are in our care
they are vaccinated, micro-chipped, spayed or neutered, and treated for any
other medical conditions that come to our attention during their time in foster care.  

MARS is a foster based rescue group that runs on the support and aid of
dedicated volunteers. We do not have a shelter facility for
boarding, instead, our rescued animals live in foster homes as visiting
family members. This way, the foster parents gain insight into an animal's personality and behavior and the pet has an easy transition from home to home when adopted. We are very proud of our 99% success rate of adoption.  Once our pets go home...they stay home! 

Along with finding homes for homeless animals, we also offer services to help bring education and community support:
