Humane Society of the Lakes

Each year hundreds of animals in the lakes area are abandoned, lost, or can no longer stay with their original owner. At the shelter of the Humane Society of the Lakes we provide a safe, caring temporary space for pets as they await a match for a forever home.

The shelter operates solely on in-kind donations and sponsors. Volunteers and staff provide crucial care and loving attention to the animals who wait to be adopted into a new family.
