The Hendrickson Foundation seeks to grow the game of hockey by including individuals with mental and physical disabilities.

The values for life gained by the lessons from sport affect both the individuals and their families. Being on the ice improves physical and mental health. For many of these players, it is the end of retreating inward and the beginning of reaching out socially to participate, create friendships and have some fun!

We're gearing up for our second annual hockey festival at the National Sports Center in Blaine, MN. The inaugural Hendrickson Foundation National Hockey Festival debuted on March 3, 2017. The now-annual tournament brings the post-season hockey tournament experience to the many Minnesota hockey players with various disabilities. Every event during the weekend is free to attendees, including the banquet, chuck-a-puck contest and celebrity game. The festival is open to Special, Sled and Warriors hockey teams from the U.S. and Canada. Join us Feb. 23-25, 2018 and see how hockey changes lives!
