Guardian Angels For Soldiers Pet

National all-volunteer 501(c)3 Military and Veteran Support Organization (MVSO) incorporated January 2005 with assisting active duty service members, wounded warriors, veterans, and their beloved companion animals or assistance service canines through various assistance programs.  These programs include: the Military and Veteran Pet (MVP)Foster Home program, Military Pet Assistance (MPA) fund program, Warriors’ Angels (WA) program (TX only at this time), and MVP Sanctuary (MVPS) in TX. The organization was incorporated in the state of Arkansas on 26 Jan 2005 plus filed as a foreign nonprofit operating in the state of Texas effective 1 Jan 2010.  Since 2007 we have reunited 714 companion animals with their owners folloiwng a deployment to harm's way, wounded warriors, and veterans facing unforeseen inpatient major medical and/or homeless situations.  Since 2008 we have disbursed $40,000+ funds via our MPA fund helping homeless veterans with companion animals receiving a hand up via a VA or VA approved Homeless Veteran Transition program across the country involving temp pet boarding and required veteraninary pet care related expenditures. Established our Warriors' Angels pilot program in southwest MO during 2013 and implemented same program in TX on 8/1/2014. In June 2010 purchased property approx 14 miles west of Fort Hood TX moving our national "day-to-day Operations" to and begin efforts to create the MVP Sanctuary as another way in supporting our military, wounded warriors, veterans, and their families.
