Help Us Dive into a Brighter Future for Local Girl Scouts
Breaking Barriers, Building Life-Saving Skills
Girl Scouts River Valleys’ new Swim to Learn program aims to equip girls ages 5-13 with life-saving water safety skills and swimming fundamentals, with the initial sessions focused on serving predominately BIPOC communities in North Minneapolis. In partnership with V3 Sports, this six-week program provides an inclusive, safe space for local Girl Scouts to overcome barriers in aquatic safety, fostering confidence and resilience.
Your Impact, Doubled!
Every dollar you donate will be matched up to $30,000, doubling your impact. Your support helps us provide vital swim starter kits with essentials like swimsuits, goggles, and towels, as well as cover program materials, staffing, and operational costs.
For just $250, you can sponsor a Girl Scout, helping them build skills that last a lifetime.
Safety and Confidence: More Than Just Swimming
Accidental drowning is the third leading cause of death among children under 18, with BIPOC youth disproportionately affected due to limited access to water safety resources. Through Swim to Learn, we’re addressing these disparities head-on, empowering kids with essential water safety skills and opening doors to a brighter future.
Join us in launching this first-of-its-kind program—together, we can make a lasting impact for Girl Scouts and their communities!
