Program Highlight: Kinderstube German Immersion Preschool

"Our daughter joined Kinderstube when we moved to Minneapolis from out of state. She was welcomed by all the students and staff very warmly and felt immediately at home. As a leading 501(c)3 non-profit German language and cultural institution in North America, we are grateful for the support we receive from the Twin Cities community for our programming from cultural events, Kinderstube German Immersion Preschool and language classes, as well as mission-focused advocacy work in areas of education, sustainability, and peace and justice.

Our work focuses on: 

Education

• Kinderstube German Immersion Preschool
• Children's summer language camps
• Samstagsschule (Saturday school) for children
• German language classes for adults
• Individualized tutoring for children and adults
• Test center for Goethe Institut proficiency exams

Cultural Programming

• Public events such as Deutsche Tage, Christmas in Germany, Twin Cities German Film Festival, the St. Paul Oktoberfest, and so much more!
• Cultural events throughout the year featuring authors, speakers, film screenings, and performers from across the U.S. and Europe.
