Westside Meals on Wheels

Westside Meals on Wheels is a small organization that is dedicated to delivering meals to those in our community that are unable to shop for or cook for themselves.  We strive to meet people's needs regardless of their ability to pay.  In August of 20256, we delivered 1517 meals, 1149of which needed extra funding to cover the cost due to recipients' needs. Year to date, we have delivered 12,899 meals of which only 2543 were paid for by the recipient.

We could not do this without the help of our many dedicated, volunteer drivers, 2 part-time, paid employees and 3 unpaid board members that manage volunteers, finances and billing services.  In July of 2026, we were able to expand our board to 5 members.  We are also grateful that a local church allows us to use their space to store and pack meals and run our day to day operations.

The difference that a personal visit from a volunteer dropping off a healthy meal can make in someone's life can be so much more than just nutrition.
