The Mission of Cocker Spaniel Resources, Inc. ("CSR") is to provide quality services for rescue, rehabilitation, adoption, and/or retirement for cocker spaniels of all ages, regardless of health conditions, through placement in permanent homes and foster care programs.  

This year, CSR is focusing on its Golden Age Cocker Retirement Program ("Program") which cares for senior cocker spaniels and/or cocker mixes which have a shortened life expectancy due to illness or injuries.  CSR currently has 5 retirement cockers in the Program.  In addition to regular vet checkups, shots, dental, heartworm and grooming, some of the specialty medical expenses include skin issues, heart issues, thyroid maintenance, special food for kidney issues, ear and dry eye medication.

CSR's selection for special emphasis for Give to the Max Day are the retirement cockers who are all in need of special veterinary care to help give them the quality of life CSR strives to attain for all of its cockers spaniels and/or cocker mixes.
