We share the past with the present for the future, telling local stories for our local community

But that's not it:

We coordinate and host community festivals that keep our community's past alive and its present vibrant.
We house local archives and collections so our friends, family, and neighbors can find their beginnings.
We produce local exhibits and host traveling exhibits to educate and entertain our visitors.
Oh, and we tell some pretty great stories about the Hjemkomst Viking Ship and Hopperstad Stave Church, both housed here at the Hjemkomst Center museum.
