Help support serious theatre throughout the metro!

The Chameleon Theatre Circle is committed to creating high quality, challenging, and passionate theatre. If you agree that this mission is important, please consider making a tax-deductible contribution. Your support makes it all possible.

Chameleon draws on all of theatre's genres to offer an eclectic mix of shows every season. Musicals, dramas, comedies, avant-garde pieces, and the classics all find their way onto Chameleon's schedule.

Additionally, the company hosts an annual New Play Contest which receives entries from around the world, culminating each fall in the New Play Festival, a free-admission, full-day event featuring staged readings of the winning scripts from that year's Contest. Over the years, 11 of these scripts have received full productions as part of Chameleon's regular season!

After 9 years as the resident theatre company of the Ames Center's Black Box Theatre, Chameleon's 20th season will be a tour of the Twin Cities, showcasing the company's penchant for imaginative and intimate productions in the Black Box at the Bloomington Center for the Arts and the new Gremlin Theatre, and venturing into a larger venue with a major musical at the Sabes Jewish Community Center!
