Catholic Charities Twin Cities works to prevent poverty before it starts, respond to immediate crises, and offer pathways to greater stability. Our 25 programs for children, families, and adults help over 20,000 people every year—regardless of faith, background, or circumstance.

In one year we: 

• Provide more than 700,00 nights of housing and emergency shelter.
• Serve over 1 million meals.
• Manage over 900 units of deeply affordable housing.
• Provide over 35,000 nights of assisted care through our medical respite programs for people leaving the hospital with nowhere to go.
• Operate two daytime opportunity centers for adults seeking meals, showers, and other services.

Our mission goes beyond direct services. Our advocacy team focuses on addressing systemic inequities and improving outcomes for the people we serve.

For more than 150 years, Catholic Charities has adapted to meet the needs of our community. Our work would not be possible without our dedicated volunteers, advocates, and donors.
