Providing Help ~ Creating Hope because of YOU...
Catholic Charities of Southern Minnesota is the social service arm of the Diocese of Winona which spans the twenty southernmost counties of Minnesota. The 17 programs of Catholic Charities provide help and create hope for thousands of people throughout southern Minnesota each year.
Programs include Family and Individual Counseling; Pregnancy, Parenting and Adoption; Onward and Upward, Guardian and Conservatorship Services; Medication Application Services (MediAppS); Active Aging Services; Parish Social Ministry; and Refugee Resettlement. For a full description of various services see www.ccsomn.org.
Each year the staff and volunteers of Catholic Charities uplift and transform the lives of children in need, families in crisis, vulnerable adults and seniors, refugees, the poor, and the unborn— regardless of their age, faith tradition, ethnic background, or ability to pay. Because of your compassionate generosity those in need reach their full potential. In fiscal year 2016, Catholic Charities served over 4509 persons living in over 2035 households. Of those households where the annual income was known, 59% of them had incomes at or below $25,000.
