We need your help! Help us raise $3000 to build a shade shelter on our playground!
For 48 years CMCCF has given the families in our community a safe, nurturing environment for their children to learn and grow. Our Staff and Board of Directors are committed to continuing our mission and giving families in the east metro high quality child care and early childhood education programs and connecting them with resources to assist them when in need.
Tracy and her two daughters, ages 2 and 4 came to CMCCF child care program after a family crisis. Tracy lost her husband tragically and found herself the sole provider for her family. Through CMCCF scholarship program we were able to help with child care expenses as she transitioned into a new job, a new home and a new way of life.
Keith, a single dad raising his 4 year old daughter alone came to CMCCF preschool program. Our staff was able to assist Keith and his daughter with community resources to help him with clothing and food.
Michael was a happy 3 month old baby when he started child care at CMCCF Infant & toddler program. Within a few months his primary caregiver noticed that he was not reaching a few of the developmental milestones. As first time parents, his mom and dad were unaware of these milestones. With the collaboration of his physician and the school district birth to 3 programs we were able to provide Michael with physical therapy at child care to help him with muscle development. Today Michael is keeping up with his friends running and playing. In 2014, CMCCF provided:
- 159 children with high quality, affordable child care.
- We were able to give 53 children the opportunity to participate in high quality, affordable Preschool education programs.
- Our child care programs provided 10,423 nutritious meals to children
- 48% of children in our programs have received some form of child care assistance.
With the help of individuals and businesses through donations and volunteers we will be able to continue helping our community’s children and families learn and grow.
