Minneapolis Commodores Acapella Barbershop Chorus- Barbershop Harmony Society

We Are Singing the Music that Makes A Difference.

The Minneapolis Commodores is a male Acapella Barbershop Chorus.
We have been chartered by the Barbershop Harmony Society for over 70 years.
We do many public presentations, including Annual and Christmas Shows. During a
normal year, we average about 12 sing outs ranging from food shelf fund raisers,
to lakeside or outdoor pavilion concerts for the public.
We donate 25% of our Annual show profits to Youthlink, Inc. Their mission is to
work with young people experiencing homelessness, ages l6-23 in downtown
Minneapolis and the greater Twin Cities. We help support  the concept of
Homelessness to Hope for these young adults.
We also support the Harmony Foundation that provides singing experiences
for young people l6-25. They provide scholarships in the summer for music educators,
high school and college students, ending with a  Mid-Winter Festival
(2018 is in Cosa Mesa, CA.)
featuring over 20 Youth Choruses from all over the world,
financed by the Harmony Foundation.
