Voices of Hope Summer Jam 2018
Fundraiser for Springboard for the Arts

Voices of Hope Summer Jam 2018 Amanda is raising money for Springboard for the Arts.

When I walk into the choir room...I get to be a woman again. I feel again, and have passion beyond measure.

Voices of Hope is excited to launch our second annual Summer Jam!  During July and August, we will welcome approximately 20 singers from the Twin Cities community to join with the Voices of Hope in weekly rehearsal, culminating in a concert at the Minnesota Correctional Facility in Shakopee, MN on August 26.

The Voices of Hope
is a women's prison choir that fosters individual growth and bridges unlikely communities through song.  Founded in October 2015, the choir has grown from 15 to 50 singers under the direction of Amanda Weber.  The Voices of Hope views singing as a powerful tool of restorative justice, seeking to transform perspectives of incarceration and build bridges of healing within the wider community through collaboration and reflection.

We need your help!  The choral program within the Shakopee prison has been made possible through your generous support.  Any funds raised on this page between now and August 1 will go directly to the programming costs for the Summer Jam.  THANK YOU for supporting the Voices of Hope!  We are looking forward to a summer of singing!
