Kaleena Miller Dance
Fundraiser for Springboard for the Arts

Kaleena Miller Dance Kaleena is raising money for Springboard for the Arts.

Kaleena Miller Dance is a tap dance company based in Minneapolis, MN.

Kaleena Miller Dance's work is rooted in American Tap Dance - promoting the form, expanding its creative possibilities, and creating opportunities for MN tap dancers.  Your support will help us continue on this journey.

Although a relative newcomer to the vibrant Twin Cities percussive dance scene, Kaleena Miller Dance (KMD) has quickly made a name for themselves. KMD was an Artist-in-Residence at the Southern Theater in Minneapolis from 2015-2017. And they have performed at various events around the city such as the Twin Cities Tap Festival, TEDxMinneapolis, The Cowles Center Gala, ASI's Cocktails at the Castle, and Barbette's Bastille Day Block Party.

In addition to directing Kaleena Miller Dance, Kaleena Miller is co-director of the Twin Cities Tap Festival.  She is also founding member of Rhythmic Circus, and toured extensively with the group from 2009-2017.

Kaleena is a 2015 McKnight Dance Fellow and was named one of DANCE Magazine's "25 to Watch" in 2016.  She has received funding from the Jerome Foundation and Minnesota State Arts Board, and has been commissioned to create work for the Walker Art Center, Southern Theater, Wayzata Symphony Orchestra, Hear Here! Festival, and SPCPA.
