Men's is raising money for Augsburg University.
The Men's Soccer Program is asking for your help to lift the program up!
Dear Augsburg Men's Soccer Alumni, Family, and Friends -
The Augsburg Men's Soccer program is joining Augsburg College in trying to raise more money than any other Minnesota college for a fifth consecutive year in the Annual Give to the Max Day. In past years, we've been able to raise enough money to pay for airfare on our pre-season trip to California, replace all of our winter coats and travel bags, and replace the carpet in our locker room. It's been an incredibly important fundraiser for our program over the years, and we hope you will consider keeping the tradition by making a gift this year!
This year's fundraiser will target two objectives: helping to mitigate costs for our team trip to Germany in March, and move closer to securing sponsors for all of our open lockers.
Each player traveling to Germany is responsible for covering the cost of the trip - around $3,200. We are hoping to to help chop off as much as we can for each player, so that they can experience some of the moments our Auggie alum have on our previous trips to Argentina, Spain, and Italy.
In our locker room, we currently have named sponsors for 18 of our 36 lockers...which leaves naming rights available for 18 locker stalls. For all gifts of $1,000, the donor will be recognized permanently with a name plate on the locker: as individuals (John Smith '09), as teams (1980 MIAC champions), as classmates (Class of 2003), as teammates (John Smith and Aaron Pike '94), etc.
It is because of the support from donors like you that we have been able to provide such an incredible experience for our student-athletes. Please consider making a gift that will help us improve the experience of the next generation of Auggies.
We hope to continue giving our athletes the best experience possible. Thank you for your consideration!
