2017 International Spanish Music Festival

2017 International Spanish Music Festival The Board is raising money for CASA DE ESPANA EN MINNESOTA.

Prestigious international artists will perform musical compositions that audiences are not usually exposed to and introduce them to MN.

"This was brilliant! Thank you for this beautiful music! Thank you for bringing this group of dedicated and talented musicians to Minnesota." –an International Spanish Music Festival audience member.

Thank you for your generous support of Casa de España en Minnesota! We rely on your generosity.

Casa de España en Minnesota is proud to present its “2017 International Spanish Music Festival.” The concept behind this festival is to foster an ecosystem in Minnesota that gives voice to lesser heard Spanish music. We will present Spain and various Latin American countries in such a way that portrays the variety and richness of their cultures and traditions through music and will expand people’s perception of Spanish music. The event will be a 4-day festival spread over 3 weeks, featuring 3 performances and 1 workshop.  The repertoire will include a variety of both classical music and popular songs. With your help, we can continue to bring great artists to the Twin Cities for everyone to enjoy.

Casa de España en Minnesota is a non-profit organization officially established in 2010. It is quickly becoming recognized as the resource in Minnesota for people interested in the Spanish speaking culture, presenting monthly movie showings, Spanish conversational groups, cooking classes, and children’s activities. Throughout our first years of service to the community we have established important associations with other organizations which have proven to be of great benefit for all age groups and interests.
