MGS is Minnesota's premier genealogy and family history organization. We help people with Minnesota connections discover their family.
Together with our many ethnic/nationality branches and affiliates, we offer classes and conferences for beginners to advanced researchers. The MGS Library and Research Center located in our new location in Mendota Heights house a collection of over 30,000 volumes, maps and microfiche/microfilms.
Your donation helps us provide free internet at our library (including Wi-Fi) and access to subscription genealogy sites like Ancestry.
With our recent relocation, we are excited to be able to offer more classroom and meeting space. But we need your help.
We have four classrooms that we need to finish furnishing with tables, chairs, screens, conferencing technology and a movable wall. With your gift, we can develop a top-notch education center to match our extensive library and research offerings. Our goal to cover these expenses is $50,000.
Every gift from $5 to $5 million will allow us to increase the opportunities we have to offer. If you would like to discuss a naming gift, please contact me at your convenience. All gifts will be acknowledged at our new location and in our annual report.
You can send us your donation directly, or join us on November 16, 2017, for Give to the Max Day. No matter how you give, the Minnesota Genealogical Society is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization, so your gift may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Thank you for being a partner with us!
