Kantorei is a high-quality a cappella choral ensemble that has become widely known for its stunning interpretations of European choral music
Thank you for considering a donation to Kantorei, one of the Midwest's premier a cappella choral ensembles. Your contributions allow us to keep producing choral music of the highest caliber and help us fulfill our mission to promote life-long singing.
This season marks Kantorei’s 30th anniversary, so we invite you to consider a minimum gift of $30 to celebrate 30 years! Every donation ensures that our ensemble remains accessible to all audiences, performs in beautiful venues around the Twin Cities, and shares the joy of singing for a lifetime.
And what better way to celebrate this anniversary than to release a new recording which will be a tribute to and reflection of our musical journey? Please consider an enhanced gift of $100, $300, $1,000, or even $3,000 to help us make this expensive endeavor a reality.
Gifts of any amount are appreciated. Please help us support our mission, and share this page with your friends and family so our fundraiser is a success!
Kantorei continues to bring its unique sound to a varied repertoire. One of our exciting collaborations is with Minnesota composer David Evan Thomas. Kantorei is honored to have premiered several of his works and this year is no different. We will premiere “Hear Us, O Lord” in the spring.
Your gifts help us keep the cost of Kantorei's concert tickets among the lowest of all professional-caliber choirs in the Twin Cities, making our music accessible to more people. Contributions help us buy music scores, hire recording engineers, pay our artistic director Axel Theimer, and secure great performance venues like the amazing Saint Paul Seminary Chapel.
Kantorei strives to be recognized as one of Minnesota’s premier a cappella choral ensembles.
To share passion for lifelong singing and allow our voices to express the essence of music, with a focus on distinctive European choral literature.
We will continuously strive to exhibit:
- Artistic Quality
- Enjoyment of Music
- Freedom of Vocal Expression
- Partnership/Community Outreach
