True Friends

True Friends is a nonprofit organization providing life-changing experiences that enhance independence and self-esteem for children and adults with disabilities. We are so excited and grateful to continue reaching more individuals through our various programs. Here are some of our highlights from the past year. 

• In 2022, we had over 700 campers on site at Summer Camp.
• Our Respite and Therapy and Adaptive Riding programs have continued to offer weekly services to our participants - both programs have had over 1,500 sessions.
• Travel is back! Starting in March 2024, travel opportunities will be available.
• We are looking forward to more adventures and programs in 2024!

Utility Vehicles at True Friends

True Friends locations have over 500 acres filled with activity fields, challenge courses, cabins, and more! Our charming, accessible spaces within the beauty of nature host memorable weeks of summer camp, weekday and weekend respite, and year-round retreat groups. Our staff utilizes utility vehicles to move throughout camp to provide maintenance, landscaping, and housekeeping. 

This year, all donations from Minnesota’s Give to the Max Day will be designated towards purchasing another Utility Vehicle (UV) to help our staff efficiently navigate camp year-round to better serve our guests.
