Freedom Farm

Freedom Farm offers Adaptive Riding, 'Succeed with Horses' (Freedom Academy students) and 'Healing with Horses' (Veterans).

Freedom Farm partners with the unique gifts of the horse to offer healing, hope, confidence, and strength. Located west of the Twin Cities, Freedom Farm was established in December of 2000 by Susie Bjorklund.

We utilize 12 therapy horses and volunteers who ensure all experience a community of trust, independence, friendships, encouragement and a sense of freedom.

In keeping with our mission, our goals are: • To provide a safe, supportive and respectful environment for rider and horse • To provide a community and opportunities for our Veterans • To help teens gain a sense of personal control and have HOPE each day and HOPE for the future • To raise enough funds to provide programming at a low cost to participants so that access to programming is based on need, not on ability to pay .
