My name is Maggie Murphy and I am CEAP’s Meals on Wheels Program Manager. Every day, I walk hand in hand with our senior neighbors to determine the right meal options and other resources to keep them healthy, happy, and independent in their homes.
I am fortunate to have grandparents who I have close relationships with. I’ve learned from spending time with these family members that they each have unique needs nutritionally, financially, and socially. The best part of my job is spending time with and caring for others’ loved ones they way my grandparents and I have cared for each other.
As food and fuel costs continue to rise, being able to count on nutritious meals delivered by caring volunteers through CEAP Meals on Wheels is critical for our senior neighbors. We all have seniors in our lives who we want the best food and friendship for - especially when health conditions and icy roads keep them at home.
