My name is Kelly Leddy and I am the Manager of Community Programs and Partnerships at CEAP. I work at CEAP because I believe that community is what propels us forward into greater health, stability, and independence.
In the last few years, we have all had to focus on emergency health and many of us have forgotten that food is medicine. Food is what heals and sustains us. It helps us improve our health to prevent and prepare for health emergencies before they become emergencies.
I’ve learned that while our community is abundant with love and resources, the process of accessing these resources is often confusing and overwhelming. My job involves building connections with community partners to make this process easier and ensure that CEAP can wrap our arms fully around each neighbor.
